The service

What this covers andwhen it is the right call

What the service covers

Factory-direct supply of timber, aluminium and uPVC windows and doors for builders, contractors and developers working across London, with scheduled deliveries to site and optional installation by our own fitting teams.

Who it is for

Main contractors and small builders running extensions and refurbishments, developers on multi-plot schemes, and self-builders managing their own programme who want manufacturer pricing and a delivery date they can plan around.

When it is needed

From the point the glazing package is being priced. Early involvement means opening details and tolerances can be agreed before the walls are built, which removes the most common cause of glazing delay.

Why buying factory-direct matters

A distributor adds margin and adds a handoff. When the programme moves, and it always moves, you want to speak to the people who control the production schedule, not to a salesperson who has to ask the factory and call you back.

What it costs to wait

The problem does notstay the same size

On a live site, the glazing package is one of the few items where a single delay stops every following trade.

Late delivery stops the whole sequence

Until the building is glazed and weathertight, plastering, flooring and second fix cannot start. A week's slip on glazing is a week's slip on everything.

Units that do not fit the openings

Ordering to plan dimensions on a site that built to real dimensions produces packers, trims and, in the worst case, remanufacture.

Margin stacked on margin

Buying through a distributor and paying an installer separately means two margins on top of the manufacturing cost, on the single most expensive material package after the structure.

The common mistake: pricing the package too late

By the time the walls are up, the opening details are fixed. Involving the manufacturer at pricing stage is what keeps the options open.

Our process

Five stages, one company,no handovers in between

01

Drawings, schedule and site review

We review the window and door schedule, the drawings and the programme, and flag anything in the opening details worth resolving early.

02

Quotation and specification

You get a factory-direct price against a written specification, so the package can be compared like for like rather than on headline figures.

03

Survey or agreed measurements

For supply-and-fit, we survey the formed openings. For supply-only, measurement responsibility is agreed in writing up front so there is no ambiguity later.

04

Manufacture and scheduled delivery

Units are manufactured on our own production line and delivered to site on the agreed date, coordinated with the site manager.

05

Installation and certification, if required

Our fitting teams install where required, and qualifying replacement work is certified under FENSA.

What you get

Specific outcomes,not general assurances

Manufacturer pricing

No distributor margin between the production line and your site.

Dates you can programme against

We control the production schedule, so a delivery date is a commitment rather than an estimate passed down a chain.

Three materials, one supplier

Timber, aluminium and uPVC from one factory means one order, one delivery schedule and one point of contact.

Accurate units, less site time

Units made to surveyed openings cut the on-site adjustment time that standard products consume.

Supply-only or supply-and-fit

Take the package to suit how your site is resourced, including installation by our own teams.

One number when things change

When the programme moves, you talk to the company that runs the factory.

In detail

Materials, methods andthe situations they suit

How trade accounts work in practice

The starting point is the schedule and the drawings. We price against a written specification so you can compare properly, and we flag anything in the opening details or tolerances that will cause problems on site later.

From there the work runs on dates: production slot, delivery date, and, where we are fitting, installation dates agreed against the build programme rather than against our convenience.

Coordinating with the build programme

Glazing sits at the point where a building becomes weathertight, so it is the hinge of the programme. Getting it right depends on knowing when the openings will be formed, when they can be surveyed, and when the site can receive and secure the units.

We agree access, offloading and storage with the site manager in advance. On constrained South West London sites, that conversation is often the difference between a smooth delivery and a wasted morning.

Multi-plot and repeat work

On developments with repeated house types, consistency is the value: the same unit manufactured accurately across every plot, delivered in phases that match the build sequence rather than all at once into a site with nowhere to store them.

Where cavity formers are also supplied, opening detail and glazing are specified together, which is what makes the repeatability real rather than theoretical.

Specification support for contractors

We will work through material choice per elevation, thermal and acoustic glazing specification, safety glazing requirements, ventilation and escape provision, threshold details and hardware, with the architect or the client directly where that is quicker.

For conservation-controlled or planning-conditioned work, we specify to the condition, because manufacturing rather than reselling means the detail can be built rather than approximated.

Refurbishment, new build and commercial

Refurbishment work usually means variable openings, awkward access and occupied or partially occupied buildings. New build means repeatability and programme. Commercial work adds higher usage and heavier duty hardware requirements.

The same factory handles all three, which is why a contractor can run a period refurbishment in Richmond and a new-build package elsewhere in London through one supplier.

Access is the practical variable on London sites. Narrow terraced frontages, restricted parking, controlled loading windows and limited storage all change how a glazing package should be delivered, in phases, at a specific time of day, or straight to the opening rather than to a compound. We agree that with the site before the first delivery rather than after a failed one.

Questions we are askedabout trade supply for builders & developers

How do I get trade pricing?
Send the schedule and drawings and we will quote factory-direct against a written specification. Phone or email the office Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.
Do you supply without installation?
Yes. Supply-only and supply-and-fit are both available, and measurement responsibility on supply-only orders is agreed in writing before manufacture.
What lead times should I plan for?
Lead time depends on material, finish and order size. We confirm production and delivery dates in writing and manage the schedule in our own factory.
Can you deliver in phases?
Yes, phased delivery matched to the build sequence is normal on multi-plot work and on sites with limited storage.
Do you work to architects' specifications?
Yes, and we will speak to the architect directly on detail questions. Because we manufacture, specified details can usually be built rather than substituted.
Can you supply timber, aluminium and uPVC on one order?
Yes. One factory, one order and one delivery schedule across all three materials.
Who surveys the openings on a trade job?
Where we install, we survey the formed openings. On supply-only orders, measurement responsibility is confirmed in writing up front.
Is trade installation FENSA certified?
Qualifying replacement installations carried out by our teams are certified under FENSA against the relevant Building Regulations.
Do you cover sites outside South West London?
Trade supply and scheduled deliveries serve builders, contractors and developers working across London.
Can you also supply cavity formers?
Yes, supplying the opening components and the glazing together is the most efficient way to keep tolerances consistent.
